Home Automation

Control4 MyHome user interfaceHome automation systems greatly simplify the control of home systems. In its simplest form, it will provide you with a ‘universal’ remote control for all of your home’s AV systems. This will reduce remote control ‘clutter’ replacing a pile of remote controls for one unit. Different home systems such as lighting, heating, door entry, CCTV, audio systems and video sources can be controlled from a single user interface (or app).

Home automation systems do not have to be used exclusively for ‘smart home’ installations, they are cost effective for purely home AV systems, for example multi-room audio, TV and video distribution systems; however it can be further leveraged to control other home systems such as your air conditioning, heating, surveillance systems, CCTV,  electric window treatments, motorised gates, blinds, and windows, cinema projection screens, scene control lighting and more.

Tea London design home automation systems to cater for anything from the basic requirement to reduce remote control clutter, to automated home systems that can improve energy efficiency, reduce the number of wall mounted switches, enhance home security and/or improve comfort and convenience at home.

Tea London recommend and install Control4 systems for the majority of projects that require universal control and/or home automation, but we also maintain and integrate with other systems such as URC, Logitech, AMX, KNX, Crestron, Systemline, Homeworks, Elan and more.

Home automation systems do not only provide you with an easy way to control your home systems, but can be programmed to automate routine operations or to respond to events (such as a door bell press, alarm activation or a schedule).

Home automation is a very wide subject, so for a comprehensive demonstration on Control4 and how it can automate your home, please contact us to arrange a demo. Home automation can be beneficial in many ways to you, it has few limitations, you are often only limited by your pragmatism, imagination and budget.
