TEA London's audio visual installation services include the configuration and integration of other systems into multi-room control systems, wireless controllers and media PC's. Home automation offers you centralised and simplified control over air conditioning, heating, surveillance systems, security systems, electric blinds, motorised windows, cinema projection screens, lighting and more.
We support a wide range of home automation products and control systems including X10, iPort, Arcam, AMX, NAD, Sonance, Systemline, B&O, Lutron and more.
Integrated control of your various system can afford you additional benefits such as macro programming, where multiple controllers can run routines in set sequences on a scheduled or on-demand fashion.
Possible scenarios of how the may benefit you are:
Home cinema: Press one button (called movies), the projector screen lowers, projector lowers from the ceiling, lights dim, audio system volume is set to the correct volume, projector is switched to the correct source, blu-ray player starts playing a movie, the lights dim some more, or turn off.. During the movie, you pause, the lights raise up a little so you can see things a little. At the end of the film the light progressively brighten over a few minutes so your eyes can adjust to the change in brightness, you can either watch another film, or end watching, where the equipment is turn off, and the projector and screen is raised back into the ceiling.
Security: Your alarm system detects entry at one of your doors. It triggers a silent alarm which in turn starts high quality recording from the nearest high quality IP-Camera. It sends an alert to your security company and to you. If a second trigger goes off, like for example movement in the house, the lighting system can be instructed to turn on at full brightness, whilst your security cameras automatically "follow" and record the intruder
Home automation: Your alarm wakes you up in the morning with clear crisp audio, which get progressively louder to an ambient volume, whilst your blinds automatically open if there is daylight outside. Your lights turn on, and progressively brighten to allow your eyes to adjust to the brightness without any pain. Your radiators are already turned on, and your bathroom is warm for your morning routine. The kettle downstairs will turn on in a few minutes to boil you some water for your morning tea.
The above are just some examples of how various systems can be integrated with one another, and how things can be automated for you to make life simpler, less complicated, safer and more energy efficient.
